Hello Music Yukon members and friends!

Music Yukon is hosting its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, July 23. All are welcome to attend. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be meeting online via Zoom.

Board nominations
We’re currently seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors! Board members help provide direction and oversight to our non-profit organization. Our Directors attend monthly meetings where they help set strategic goals, develop policies and procedures, review budgets and financial statements, and support staff with fundraising and programming.

Board election on July 23
Music Yukon members will be electing our new Board of Directors at the AGM on July 23. All nominees will also need a seconder, and both the nominee and the seconder must be members in good standing.

Voting is open to members in good standing for the 2020-21 year. Our usual membership renewal date of April 1, 2020 has been extended. You can renew online at musicyukon.com/join/ before the July 23 meeting to vote, or contact staff@musicyukon.com if you would like to renew with cash or cheque.
