Looking for some exercise, fun and socialization all wrapped into one?
Scottish Country Dancing might be for you.
Yes, we are having our popular “GIVE IT A TRY” fall session.
This year there is just one Scottish Country Dancing GIAT session —> Thursday, September 26th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Selkirk Elementary School Gym.
Even if you have done one of these before, come on out and give it a go again. The more the merrier! It is a about having fun and some exercise too.
Come one, come all. No experience is necessary. No partner required.
What to bring —>  Indoor shoes and a water bottle.
Children are welcome. It is easier for those who are 6 years old and up to do the dances on their own with all the other people — mostly adults right now. We dance in groups. It is similar to square or barn dancing. We have had adults with babies in backpacks giving it a go.
If you have any questions or you can’t make it on the 26th to GIAT, please call Kat at 867-334-1547 or email scdwhitehorse@gmail.com.
We hope to have a Fall Ceilidh in November and our Spring Fling in April. Both are public events with live music.
