The Association franco-yukonnaise (AFY) and the 98 Hotel are getting together to feature French-speaking artists with new musical evenings from 8 pm onward. Bring your friends and spend a fun evening in one of Whitehorse’s most mythical places!
One of the many perks of living north of 60 is having access to its wealth of talented musicians. The Hibernation is a local eclectic mix of bilingual multi-instrumentalists: leg-shaking modern folk, rock, and melodic acoustic ballads. Formed by songwriter fingerstylist Jordan Patrick in 2017, The Hibernation brings together the colourful sounds of guitar, accordion, traditional and modern percussions, flute, small (and bag!) pipes, and passionate vocals.
The group is composed of:
• Sarah Waters (flute)
• Jerome McIntyre (Irish bodhrán, cajón and drum)
• Anne-Marie Lemaire (vocalist, keyboard and accordion)
• Jordan Patrick (vocalist, guitar, bagpipe and looper)
