SOIR DE SEMAINE
Soir de Semaine broke onto the Yukon music scene in 2003. The members of the group (Marie-Maude Allard, Pascal St-Laurent, Alain Desrochers, Cory Chouinard and Marc Paradis) sometimes perform their creations in costume, always with face paint. Soir de Semaine attracts dancers and travellers by combining ska, reggae and rock. The group has appeared in bars, schools and festivals across Canada.
Soir de Semaine has two albums to its credit, Toi du monde (2007) and Faire des voeux (2011). Its festive music and closeness with the public took the group to the Vancouver Olympic Games, the FrancoFolies de Montréal, the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, the CBC Concerts, Coup de coeur francophone, and to many festivals in the Yukon.
