Are you a musician interested in learning video and audio recording skills? Are you a filmmaker interested in the ins-and-outs of creating music videos? Join us in this workshop and learn everything you need to know about making a live music video.

In the morning on the first day of this hands-on workshop, Whitehorse-based filmmaker and musician Brett Elliot will introduce the concept and process of creating videos of live music performances. In the afternoon, you can hone your skills by testing out video and audio recording equipment and by recording a live band that will be present during the workshop. On the second day, Elliot will show audio and video editing for online publishing. You will be guided through basic audio and video editing techniques and work with Elliot on editing the music footage that was shot during the workshop.

This workshop is designed to give participants the creative and technical experience to make their own live music videos.

Instructed by: Brett Elliot

Cost: $75 – the workshop is open only to MusicYukon and Yukon Film Society production members. Pro-rated YFS Production membership only $25, Music Yukon Membership only $20!
