Now in its 19th year, the Winnipeg Folk Festival is pleased to once again present the Stingray Young Performers Program.
Open to emerging musicians ages 14-24. This training and performance program offers a day of workshops and mentoring with professional musicians hired to perform at this year’s festival.
Participants also have the opportunity to perform on stage to the Festival audience.
It’s a chance to interact and exchange ideas with young musicians with the same musical interests and we hope those who take part will come away inspired to pursue a future in music.
