Yay! A Friday night concert! Please come join us on March 8th for Madeleine Roger and her partner Logan McKillop (who some of you may have seen perform once or twice on this circuit already).
Genre: Singer-songwriter, folk/roots
Short Biography: Madeleine Roger is a contemporary folksinger from Winnipeg, Canada. While accompanying herself on acoustic guitar in multiple tunings, it is her artistry as a songwriter that can silence a room, uniting her captivating voice with vivid lyricism and a maturity beyond her years. A former thespian and a lifelong traveler, she is prone to absorbing stories and questioning the way that things are, creating songs with imaginative melodies and honesty that bares truths about being alive.

She has recently created a debut album called “Cottonwood” at Paintbox Recording in Winnipeg, MB with producer/engineer Lloyd Peterson (The Wailin’ Jenny’s, The Weakerthans, James Keelaghan), who also happens to be her Dad. The album has been fully produced with gender parity, from the audio engineers, musicians, administration team, and beyond. The release date is September 21st, 2018.

Drive towards Dawson on the North Klondike Highway. Just past the 222 marker on the highway you will turn right towards the Lake Laberge campground (there will be a big blue sign and a bank of mail boxes at the corner). Stay left at the Y intersection. The house number is hard to see but I’ll put up the Christmas lights on the fence. Its a wide drive way with a trampoline frame in it.
