Rolling Stone magazine recently announced a special contest music competition whereby the winner would be the first unsigned act to ever be on the cover of the magazine. Of the 16 acts which were chosen from thousands of entries only one is Canadian being The Sheepdogs from Saskatoon.
Tickets are available for the Chickadees Playschool fundraiser family dance featuring the Whitehorse Big Band. The dance is from 3 - 6 PM this Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Mount MacIntyre Recreation Centre.
